Lama Kamal – Certified International Entrepreneurship Master Trainer/ Certified Dialogue Education Practitioner/ Architect/ Design thinking Practitioner
From the onset of her career, Lama chose to start her own business, and after years of flavoring the gains and pains of being an entrepreneur, expanded in business as an active partner into a new business venture. Supported by the backbone of private business, Lama was able to contribute to learning and development early on, as she delved into teaching part time at several universities. Advocating entrepreneurship, she later turned her capacity building focus to entrepreneurs. She has accumulated more than 15 years in entrepreneurship training, and currently, she is one of 29 of UNCTAD’S Master Trainers with an International status within the 40 countries covered by the Empretec program. She has facilitated multiple workshops, and trained entrepreneurs and trainers in different Arab countries as well as in other countries in Asia and Africa.
Lama has invested her architectural expertise as a consultant to the USAID ‘Rule of Law Program’ facilitating ‘access to Justice’ for Jordanians within different premises under the authority of the Ministry of Justice. Her background as an architect, designer, and business owner have allowed her to bring together her appreciation of entrepreneurship, and design thinking and steered her in the direction of design for learning and development. She designs training events with a learner-centered approach, and is an advocate for design as a way to attain personal growth and change.
